Protective Stove Guard

Prevent this happening !!!

The "Protective Stove Guard" was designed to prevent, pots, pans, etc; falling or being pulled off the top of the freestanding gas or electric stoves, causing serious if not fatal injury.

Having had first hand experience with one of our children, who pulled a jug of hot water off the stove at 8 months old. He was hospitalised for two weeks, one being at the STARSHIP CHILDRENS HOSPITAL, then onto MIDDLEMORE BURNS UNIT for several skin grafts. So this guard was designed in mind to prevent this happening to other families.

It was originally designed for the safety of children, but as time has gone on the guard has been known to be useful to people that have disabilities, whether physical or mental. Another market is for the elderly, whilst cooking they feel safer having the guard attached whether just to stabilise them.

This product is NZ patented (Patent #540692), and is designed to fit all brands of Westinghouse, Simpson and Fisher&Paykel - it has also been known to fit some older stoves, i.e. Shacklock or Atlas.

The guard is made of wire and coated in chrome, and is manufactured in New Zealand. It is heat resistant, to the extent that while cooking you will not burn yourself on the surrounding railing.

The guards come in two different sizes:
- 600mm wide, this fits Simpson and Westinghouse
- 610mm wide, this fits Fisher and Paykel, Atlas and Shackloc

Our product comes with a 1 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.
